He completed his B.S., M.Sc., and M.Phil. degrees in computer science from the Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2004, 2006, and 2009, respectively.

As a postdoc researcher at Qatar University, Doha, Qatar in 2017, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in (Columbia University, New York, NY, USA.)
